After our announcement about the GIC scholarship for GDC, the largest number of applications so far for this scholarship came from Croatia. The result is success!
One of the 16 scholarship recipients is the Croatian illustrator Astrid Vujnović, a former participant of the Edu4Games program and an experienced illustrator with experience in the local companies Cybertale Studio and Games Revolted, she applied to GIC’s program of inclusive scholarships intended for “underrepresented groups of video game producers from Central and Eastern Europe”. and won a ticket to the biggest video game fair in the world – Game Developers Conference (GDC).
Before leaving for the USA, we asked her to comment on her scholarship: “I am very grateful for this opportunity that allows me new experiences, acquaintances and learning. I believe that after this I will return as a better game developer, with lifelong friendships that the most important, and especially now, with the current state of the industry.”
