Yesterday, a meeting on the topic of children’s safety on the Internet was held in Novska at the PISMO incubator. The participants of the meeting were representatives of the PISMO incubator, A1 Croatia, the Center for a Safer Internet and CGDA. At the meeting, greater cooperation was agreed on regarding the education of young game developers (including high school students and Technical Schools of Novska and Sisak) as well as children in general, in order to draw their attention to the PEGI rating system, to types of game design that are predatory (predatory game design). , how to spot and avoid them during development and what impact they have on the users themselves. Also, we talked about the importance of developers early spotting and preventing various unacceptable forms of behavior in online video games such as scams, blackmail/sextortion, bullying and the like. One of the more important outcomes of the meeting was the agreement that the Center for a Safer Internet will hold educations at the summer schools of the PISMO incubator suitable for younger ages and in cooperation with the CGDA for the game developers themselves who are educated in Novska.
